--As it lights without
any touch, the infrared induction technology is always
only applied in outdoors and high-tech industries.
In fact, infrared technology is also required by daily
life and indoors.
--(1)Principal.
--Heat
source-human body.--
--Every object will be
a excellent heat source, which radiates the heat continuously.
As the thermal radiation
is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum, it can
not be seen by naked eyes. What is different from
the object is that the each part of human body has
the different body temperature, producing the different
thermal radiation.
--Thermal
inducer.
--The heat constantly
radiated from human body can start the device a certain
distance away through the thermal inducer, e.g., electirc
light.
--The thermal inducer,
also called the action detector or passive infrared
inducer, is a kind the electronic device used to detect
and compare the heat, which is only reactive to the
changing heat. With a special lens designed on the
inducer, it can divide the controlled area into over
a dozens of parts, and make the reflection so long
as there is the difference between the heats detected
in different parts. And this is the function of "faceted
lens".
--(2)Faceted
lens
--Faceted lens is adopted
for most of the passive infrared system. Because the
lens is composed of indefinite divided small parts,
the faceted lens can change the visible area of the
inducer to be horizontal, and spread the lights broadly.
However, it only gives the limited control to the
vertical direction. To settle this problem, the principle
of dual-lens is adopted . Such design, which is called
the "anti-submersion deivce", can include
the area near the inducer into the controlled area,
and react by the inducer in case of any difference.
And this is the function of the faceted lens.
--(3)Timing
device
--The
thermal inducer is only reactive to the moving heater.
To make you always away from the darkness, the inducer
will have an automatic timer from 5s to 15m, which
starts timing when it detect the moving of the heater
for the last time. As time passes, the light will
turn off automatically.
--(4)Photosensor
--The
inducer light is on only when it is necessary. Each
inducre has the special electronic induction device
to induce the environmental brightness. Preset the
brightness by the switch, so that the inducer and
the light may function only in the suitable environmental
brightness.
